Trowbridge town crier Trevor Heeks made a nostalgic visit to a Southwick pub this week.
The last time Mr Heeks was at The Farmhouse Inn was for the launch of their new restaurant with famous racehorse Red Rum in March 1990.
Last Friday the 67-year-old was back to mark the relaunch, now the reins have been taken by Janet Harris and her business partner Adam Glass.
He said: “We all had a great night and I met up some some old friends – some of us that could clearly remember when the famous racehorse came.
“It was quite a winner for me. I enjoyed the social night with my wife Lillian and I even had a knees-up on the dance floor.”
More than 300 people attended the event organised by the pair, who used to manage The George at Lacock before moving to the Southwick pub last month.
