GRAND Designs presenter Kevin McCloud’s company Hab will be joining members of a community environmental group in Corsham next week to explore sustainable home building.
Experts and visionaries on the cutting edge of sustainable home design will be meeting Transition Community Corsham (Transcoco) members to share ideas on providing attractive and affordable housing schemes.
Mr McCloud set up Hab, Happiness Architecture Beauty, to build homes that make sustainable, comfortable and cheerful places that look good and work well.
The Transcoco organised event will take place at the Pound Arts Centre in Corsham next Thursday at 7.30pm.
Transcoco member Julia Densham, who co-ordinated the event, said: “We hope to attract a mix of people to the event – those involved in house building as well as people interested in the idea of creating sustainable homes, and ways to make their own more sustainable.”
