A Corsham man has been jailed for two years at Bristol Crown Court for the manslaughter of builder Michael Walsh.
Derek George Gould, 61, of Westwood Road, Corsham, pleaded guilty to the charge on Tuesday, August 23 at the court and was sentenced today (Wednesday).
Local builder Mr Walsh, 57, of Methuen Way, Corsham was left unconscious following an incident outside the Rudloe Community Centre at 6.45pm on Sunday, March 6.
Police and ambulance crews attended the scene and Mr Walsh was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol with head injuries but later died.
