The manager of The Shires, the largest shopping centre in Trowbridge, will leave at the end of October, to take up a new role.
John Grinnell, 42, who has been at The Shires since January 2010, is moving to a 100-shop centre in Poole, Dorset.
He said: “I’ve enjoyed my time at The Shires. It has a real community feel and I’ve tried to involve myself in working with the town council and a number of local organisations.
“I’ve worked with some really dedicated people, both staff and tenants, who work tirelessly to help the centre achieve success and I wish them all well for the future.”
The Shires has been voted Wiltshire’s Best Shopping Centre by readers of the Wiltshire Times, eight years in succession.
The Shires’ managing agent Workman Retail, based in Bristol, has yet to announce the appointment of a successor.
