Two men and a woman have been charged with the murder of Leonard Adams, following the discovery of his body in a field in Semley, near East Knoyle on Saturday.
Nicola Haywood, District Crown Prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service in Wessex said: "I have authorised Wiltshire Police to charge Charlie Louise Chase, 25, Christopher Charles, 48, and Paul Chambers, 49 with the murder of Leonard Adams.
"This decision was made after a careful consideration of the available evidence and in accordance with the Code for Crown Prosecutors.”
Investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Ian Saunders of the Major Crime Investigation Team said: "We are working closely with Mr Adams' family and continue to offer them our full support."
The trio, who all live in Station Road, Semley, appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court today (Friday) where they were remanded in custody. They are due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Monday.
