A woman told by a judge to do 210 hours of community work, after admitting looking after £1,000 of drugs, was signed off sick for six months just days later.
Now Jane Price, of Silman Close, Corsham, who suffered whiplash in a car crash soon after sentencing, has been given the all-clear to complete the unpaid work.
Price, 42, was initially told the work must be done before the end of March next year.
The Corsham woman was hurt in a smash on April 2 and has since had chiropractic treatment.
She told a judge at Swindon Crown Court she could now do the work imposed in March as part of a one-year order.
Price had bags of cannabis resin, as well as the flowering heads of plants, hidden in two bedrooms at her house, as well as more than £5,000 cash which she said belonged to the owner of the drugs.
Police raided her home early on November 8 last year and found the drugs haul, along with £5,260 in cash which was seized by the court.
The cannabis resin, which weighed 32.77g, was in two lots and the herbal cannabis was in four separate bags.
When questioned, she told police she was holding the drugs and cash for someone.
Price pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
