TROWBRIDGE town crier Trevor Heeks had the difficult task of choosing his favourite floral-themed cushion in a competition in the town last Friday.
Fabric Magic, on Silver Street, had launched a competition for its customers to create the best cushion to celebrate Trowbridge in Bloom.
Owner Liz Machin said: “There were many different techniques used including knitting, patchwork and cross stitching. Every one of the entries looked very different from the others.
“We wanted to try and inspire our customers by displaying the entries in our shop window and we were more than pleased with the reaction we got.”
From the 37 entries, Tracey-Jane Loftus, from Trowbridge, was the overall winner, collecting a £50 voucher.
A special prize also went to nine-year-old Mia Wedeman, also from Trowbridge, because she was the only child to enter.
