WINSLEY Village Hall Film Club is seeking members to join a new society, which will launch in September. The club is being established after the village hall hosted successful occasionally film nights last year.
Breakfast At Tiffany’s will be shown at the club’s first event at 7.30pm on September 23.
Organiser Nina Beaven said: “We are very excited to be starting the new film club and felt Breakfast At Tiffany’s would be a lovely film to start with.
“In the future, we will ask our members what films they would like us to screen. We are planning to put together a shortlist of titles and then we’ll allow members to decide.”
Mrs Beaven said she was very encouraged by the number of people who have already signed up and is looking forward to welcoming more members.
The annual membership fee is £5 and this entitles members to reduced admission to the club’s film nights.
Each film ticket is £6 to non-members but members will only pay £4.
