Are traffic wardens scared of double yellow lines, as you never see them anywhere near by when a car is parked on one?
You see them all the time walking about over-priced car parks booking people for overstaying their time in these car parks.
They take pictures and slap on the big yellow fine pack and walk away, while 20 other cars are parked on double yellow lines and get no ticket.
There seems to be no logic or thought going into the parking schemes.
You’d think they do not want you to park in car parks as they over charge you and fine you as soon as they can.
Yet what is the point of having car parks if they are too expensive to park in? Why are car parks so expensive? Why not set one standard cost across the county to ensure fair play?
Once you start going over the pound you have to question the motives of those behind the charges. I can’t believe people will park in a car park that charges without getting a ticket, so why set the rates so high they take the risk of not paying?
It also makes me laugh as some of these cars are £40,000 to £80,000 in value, so if they can’t afford a ticket who can?
If you can afford a takeaway meal then most of the time you can afford to park in a car park or afford a £60 fine.
Yet you probably have worked out that the traffic wardens only know where the car parks are and only ever book those who forgot to buy a ticket or have overstayed their time, so you can afford to buy your takeaway and cause road hold ups in the knowledge you got away with free parking. Great work traffic wardens on not targeting the people who need targeting and attacking those who have at least parked in a car park.
