MELKSHAM leapfrogged their Wessex Division One rivals in a tight match at Stonar School.
With Nancy Strickland playing an important role in midfield, Melksham scored twice in the opening half, as injury forced Frys down to 10 players.
Passing up field between Lorraine Robinson, Georgina Doel, Alexandra Robinson, Vixster Hathway and player of the match Mel Bessell, allowed Doel to open the scoring.
Hathway added a second with a fine shot following a run in from the right flank.
Frys responded at the start of the second half, despite several clearances from goalkeeper Vicky Moxham.
