CHIPPENHAM returned to their goalscoring ways with a comprehensive drubbing of neighbours, Devizes A to maintain their four-point lead at the top of the North Division Two table.
Mike Dodd opened the scoring with a reverse stick shot from the top of the circle which wrong-footed the goalkeeper and added a second with a shot from a short corner.
Nigel Stonham scrambled in the third when the ball was lifted up off a Devizes’ defender’s foot from close range and scored a second early in the second half after a well-placed shot at the near post from the top of the circle.
Devizes hit back twice but in between, Dodd completed his hat-trick from a high drag-flick and later added a fourth with a low reverse-stick shot.
