CHIPPENHAM suffered their first defeat of the season in Davis Wood League North Division Two as the Forest of Dean side raced into a 3-0 lead.
Trailing by a goal at half time, Chippenham were stunned further when Lydney added two more, but Chippenham’s response was immediate.
After a rebound in the circle, Mike Dodd opened the home side’s account from close range.
Luke Morris then added a second from a short corner deflection to give the home team some late hope.
