THE heroics of Chippenham goalkeeper Alexis Tayor could not prevent her side from losing out to the West Clubs League’s Premier Division Two secnd-placed team.
An early goal for Yate put Chippenham on the back foot, but finally Chippenham found the equaliser, courtesy of a brilliant deflection from Sue Doel.
The second half saw both teams working hard and both testing out the goalkeepers.
With six minutes left, Taylor dived to save an initial save, only to see the rebound lifted up and over towards her feet.
Kicking out, her heel connected with the ball and away from the net.
However, Yate grabbed the winner in the dying seconds.
