WEST Wilts Ladies suffered their first Wessex Division One defeat of the season.
They didn’t look settled at the outset and City took advantage, playing the ball around the midfield and launching several strong attacks.
Despite strong defending from Karla Cundick and Jo Pothecary and promising attacks from Jess McLean and Nicky Way, Wilts conceded two first-half goals.
McLean and Way continued to carry the Wilts threat and the eventual award of a penalty flick allowed Mclean to reduce arrears.
But a break in midfield allowed City of Bath to scored their third.
