WILTS leapfrogged Firebrands to go second in Premier Division Three with a comfortable win in Bristol.
The tone was set when they hit the bar early on after Mark Brothers’ deft move down the left, but Firebrands seized the lead from a penalty corner.
Wilts roared back and were 4-1 up by half time and the second half continued in the same vein with Wilts’ effort orchestrated by man of the match Dan Sheppard.
Brothers weighed in with a hat-trick, while there were two goals each for James Baker and Dave Jeffreys.
