CHIPPENHAM continued their impressive start to the new season with an emphatic win.
The home team broke the deadlock with an early goal.
Luke Morris found Scott Trainor inside the D and he netted with a well-timed sweep shot.
Chippenham struck again very quickly when a rebound ball found Alex Thomas, who smashed the ball on the turn across the advancing Cardiff goalkeeper. The third goal followed, scored by Harry Elias with a sweet reverse stick undercut from the top of the circle.
Nigel Stonham put the game beyond Cardiff’s reach with a penalty flick late in the first half before Elias scored his second and Thomas added another at the far post.
