THREE princes and a host of celebrities will be attending one of the biggest society weddings in this year's social calendar in a small Wiltshire village on Saturday.
St Cyriac's Church, in Lacock, is the venue for the wedding of The Duchess of Cornwall's daughter Laura Parker Bowles, 26, to former Calvin Klein and Vogue model Harry Lopes.
Wiltshire Police have warned residents of the picturesque National Trust village to be prepared for an influx of visitors and are coordinating security measures for the big day.
Prince Charles and his sons Prince William, 23 and Prince Harry, 21, are expected to attend the ceremony at 5.30pm, as are the Duchess's family, dubbed the 'Sexy Shands' by the tabloid press, and her son Tom Parker Bowles.
Security has been tight around the Duchess's home in nearby Reybridge, with royal protection officers and armed police in attendance. Miss Parker Bowles chose to marry in the 16th century Norman church because of its proximity to Rey Mill House, where her mother has lived for several years.
Police have sent letters to residents saying security barriers will be put up as they expect several hundred onlookers on the day. Church Street will be closed during the weekend.
Miss Parker Bowles and Mr Lopes announced their engagement in November. Mr Lopes, who now works in accountancy, is the nephew of Lord Roborough.
