WEST Wiltshire MP Dr Andrew Murrison has challenged the transport minister over threatened train services.
In a debate in Parliament on Tuesday he reminded transport minister Derek Twigg of the importance of the London Waterloo-Bristol service, which affects towns in west Wiltshire.
The service is not included in the invitation to bidders for the South Western Franchise. Dr Murrison pressed Mr Twigg to favour a train operator which is prepared to add the service. The MP has advised passengers to continue showing their support by writing to Mr Twigg.
