TWO women were cut free from their cars and taken to hospital following a crash on a country road near Warminster.
The 27-year-old driver of a red VW Golf and a 24-year-old woman, who was driving a silver Chevrolet, were taken to Salisbury District Hospital after the head-on crash on the B390 at Knook Camp this morning.
Paramedics and fire crews from Warminster and Trowbridge were called to the scene at 7.55am.
Both women suffered injuries in the crash, which are not believed to be life threatening.
Police closed off the road at Chitterne so traffic officers could examine the scene.
