A POPULAR TV personality made a guest appearance at ASDA in Trowbridge on Friday.
Bob the Builder joined forces with the supermarket in Bythesea Road and Recycle Wiltshire, to help spread the word about recycling.
As part of the event, Recycle for Wiltshire campaigners joined Bob in the store to offer advice about recycling and to give the first 300 customers on Friday and Saturday a free jute bag.
Wiltshire County Council waste services manager Andy Conn said: "Recycling is part of all our lives and we are already doing pretty well in Wiltshire by recycling a third of our household waste but we could all do lots more.
"We are really pleased to be working with ASDA to make even more people aware of recycling."
Throughout this month, ASDA will be asking customers to make a pledge to start recycling, collect recyclables for charity and join in a host of competitions and fun, including a children's colouring contest.
