Alistair Tresidder, who became the youngest club professional in the country at the age of 21 five years ago, believes he is offering something different to the members and his pupils at the club.
His new initiative at Sherborne's Academy that provides such marvellous practice facilities is to help all pupils with follow ups to their lessons. He also teaches at the range at Folke.
He said: "I have felt for years that pupils forget most of what has been taught as soon as they finish.
"Now everyone who has a lesson receives email notes outlining what was covered.
"This includes faults, areas for practice, practice drills, points that should be worked on and plans for the next lesson.
"As well as notes, anyone taking a video lesson receives a CD, email clips of their swings or a DVD to study at home.
"I feel I am offering a little extra and personal so people receive full value for money and can monitor their progress and improvement.
He has 85 youngsters registered at his junior golf academy and more than 40 turn upon Saturday mornings, the youngest aged four.
