Jack Russell, who made his name as an eccentric cricketer with Gloucestershire and England, has now become a successful painter.
His work is displayed in a shop in the High Street at Chipping Sodbury, a few yards from the Cotswold town's golf course.
Although he has not, as far as is known, considered swapping his wicketkeeping gloves and battered sun hat for golf gear, he was invited to the club last year and given a commission to paint a picture of the course.
It was produced to mark the club's centenary and has now been completed. It was handed over recently to the club's manager Bob Williams and now hangs proudly in the refurbished clubroom.
Now 100 limited edition prints in two sizes are available, priced from £195 at the club.
