A FIVE year ambition to set up her own business has been fulfiled by a former primary school teacher.
Anna Saxty, pictued left, from Bradford on Avon chose her home town for her Bronze Boutique, selling quality fashion accessories and hand-made and bespoke bead jewellery she designs and makes herself.
Anna, 26, has worked part-time in retail in Bath since leaving Unversity of Wales Institute Cardiff in 2001, alongside part-time teaching in primary schools.
She has been making jewellery in her spare time for a number of years and after deciding to convert this hobby into a business she sought a property through commercial property agents Dreweatt Neate in Trowbridge.
"She considered Marlborough, Devizes and Tetbury as possible locations but in the end decided Bradford on Avon was the perfect place for her business launch where her father Geoffrey has his own independent estate agent's business," said Colin Scragg, partner at Dreweatt Neate.
As well as jewellery, Anna will also sell shoes, bags, belts, pashminas and other accessories.
She said: "It's fantastic to be able to realize my dream of owning my own boutique."
