CHAMBER NEWS: A site visit to Erlestoke Prison, near Devizes and a seminar by BT were just two of the events put on by the Wessex Association of Chambers of Commerce.
Trowbridge & District Chamber of Commerce held another successful networking event at Bar More and Red or White was the venue for its annual meeting and president's reception.
President Robert Quartley was re-elected for another year along with a second stint for treasurer Ian Merryweather, of Lloyds TSB and chairman Bruce Whitfield. Nick Day, of Jobshop and Melanie Teal, of The Consortium joined the executive committee.
Liz England, Chamber secretary said: "Committee members felt doing a two year term as president and chairman was more beneficial in terms of stability and knowledge, especially at this time of great change in the town."
