SINCE April 1 people over 60 have become entitled to free bus travel in Wiltshire.
I would have expected the Wiltshire Times to carry a large advertisement from the bus companies and the district council explaining the rules and how to apply.
Does an over 60 need a special pass before they can use the facility? What about those people who applied for a Railcard instead of using the former half-fare bus card scheme, are they eligible?
It would have been helpful if the rules could have been explained in advance. Or perhaps they don't want too many people to find out about the free travel scheme so that the cost to the rates can be minimised?
