URBAN dance classes are proving to be a real hit in Melksham.
A whole range of abilities, age groups and backgrounds have been flocking to classes at the Riverside Club.
Bonita Elcock, 21, decided to start the dance group after studying at Swindon Dance College for three years. She said: "To set up something like this has always been my dream.
"You used to have to go to places like Bristol or London to do it, but I wanted to start a group in my home town." Separate classes are run for youngsters and adults and there are now more than 80 people involved.
Urban dancing has proved so popular, there is now a waiting list and Miss Elcock is putting on two extra classes to cope with demand.
"It is advertised as a multi-cultural event, and there has been such a good response," she said. "I'm so pleased with the way it is going."
