DARREN Wheeler has ended his all too brief spell with Chippenham Town with mixed feelings.
The 22 -year-old winger became a firm favourite with the fans during his two month loan spell, but has now been recalled by Conference South leaders Weymouth.
Wheeler said: "I could not have hoped to have joined a better club on loan than Chippenham. I had a really good time. I would like to think that I made an impact at Chippenham, but I know my overall game could have been better.
"It's brilliant being a full-time player at Weymouth but if things don't work out I would love to come back to Chippenham. Darren Perrin is not just a fantastic manager, he's also a very good friend," he said.
