FRIENDS of Ben Sawyer, who died at the weekend, aged 22, will be gathering at the Bear pub in Box on Sunday to listen to his favourite music and share photos and memories.
Ben, from Hazelbury Hill, Box, died on Sunday and his death has shocked the close-knit village.
His former employer Jan Ewart, landlady at the Bear, said: "He was the most perfect boy in every way.
"He was so hardworking, he cared for his father and his brother and he was always positive. He was everything you could want.
"The whole village is devastated. Two of his best friends work here and the whole place is so quiet because we're so sad about what's happened."
Ben, who leaves his father Kevin and brother Luke, 21, worked for landscape gardener Andy Hyam. Before that he was employed by Mrs Ewart at the Northey Arms in Box, where he worked for three years and trained as a chef. He helped out at the Bear from time to time and was working there the week before he died.
Lee Foster, 24, a barman at the Bear, was one of Ben's best friends. They knew each other at Box primary school and later at Corsham School. He said Ben's death was completely unexpected. "All we'd heard was that he had a bit of sickness and a stomach bug," he said.
