A Westbury firefighter is retiring after more than 20 years' service.
Keith Harvey joined Westbury Fire Station Station in 1974 after being encouraged by his late father in law Ernie Coleman, who had completed 18 years service.
In 1988 Keith was promoted to leading firefighter and in 1997 to station commander.
He said: "I have seen many changes and great improvements in uniforms, equipment and the fire appliances themselves. "Unfortunately over the years we have seen an increase in road traffic accidents."
Some of the more memorable events Keith attended over the years include the fires at Vista Cinema in Westbury and Trowbridge Town football stand in the late 1980s.
"I would like to thank all my current and past colleagues at Westbury for all the support and friendship they have given me over the years. I will certainly miss the camaraderie of the crew," he said.
