TALENTED students proved they have the X Factor at a talent show held last night.
Youngsters at Kingdown School in Warminster took to the stage after organising their own version of the popular ITV programme.
The event was organised by Y12 students, lead by Matthew Graham, as part of their GNVQ leisure and tourism course. Auditions were held for the show and 120 acts were whittled down to just 18 by a panel of staff at the school and over 200 tickets were sold for the final.
The final was broadcast live over the school's radio station, Kingdown Radio, which was set up especially for the event and the panel of judges included an experienced opera singer.
The overall winner was to be selected from the three category winners and will get a £100 cash prize in addition to the opportunity to record their own CD album.
Organisers hope the event will raise up to £500 for Cancer Research.
