PRINCE Charles' stepdaughter will marry in Lacock this May bringing a host of royal faces to the village.
Laura Parker Bowles, 26, will wed fiance Harry Lopes at St Cyriac's Church, the Chippenham News can reveal this week. Laura who is the youngest daughter of Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, announced her engagement to the former Calvin Klein model in November.
Prince Charles and Camilla, as well as Princes William and Harry are all expected to attend. The Rev Sally Wheeler, team vicar for Lacock said this week: "I wouldn't say anything about Laura and Harry as they deserve their privacy like every other couple.
"But we are delighted they are getting married in her local church and the whole village wishes them well.
"Anyone who has ever met them has always said what a lovely couple they are. "It is exciting for the village but from my point of view the focus will be on the couple, it is their day."
Laura, who has one older brother, Tom, is the daughter of Camilla and Andrew Parker Bowles. Her mum became the Duchess of Cornwall in April when she married Prince Charles 30 years after their romance began.
Camilla still has a home in nearby Reybridge, which is protected by 24-hour security.
Laura's brother, Tom, married magazine fashion editor Sara Buys in September. Princes William and Harry attended along with Charles and Camilla and the royal guests at Lacock's wedding will require a massive security presence.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said officers would be on hand to direct traffic and ensure no crimes were committed. Chris Doel, chairman of Lacock Parish Council, said: "It will certainly be an interesting evening.
"I'm sure there will be quite a big police and security presence. "I'm not sure who will be there on the day but I'm sure there will be plenty of people about."
The current St Cyriac's Church was built in the 16th century but the original church is thought to date back to Norman times. On Tuesday, the Archdeacon of Malmesbury, the Venerable Alan Hawker will launch the Pennies to Stop the Heavens appeal at 11am.
On top of contributions from English Heritage an extra £50,000 is needed to restore the roof. The Duchess of Cornwall has agreed to be the patron for the appeal.
