Police officers working on the case of murdered Bradford on Avon woman Natalie Williams received awards last week after commendation from the judge in the case.
After Randle Williams, husband of Natalie, had been sentenced to life imprisonment, the trial Judge, Mr Justice Sir Brian Keith commended the officers for "the professional, extensive and exhaustive police investigation and preparation of case papers". Last week, members of the enquiry team on Operation Comet were formally recognised for their efforts at an award ceremony.
A total of 37 members and ex-members of the Wiltshire Police staff received Divisional Commanders Certificates of Merit at their divisional headquarters in Devizes.
