HOW lucky we are in Warminster to have such a wonderful library service. The Warminster library is fully inclusive and available to all for lots of our information and leisure needs.
Not just books but films on DVD for hire and internet-linked terminals, newspapers and magazines. Most important of all are the fully trained and helpful staff who are invariably happy to help with your inquiry, however obscure.
If you want a book which is not in stock it can be ordered from afar for a small fee. Many villages still receive a fortnightly visit from the mobile library bringing the books to you. The library is welcoming and warm and just the place to pop into on a trip to town and banish those winter blues.
I think the Warminster library is a jewel in the crown of Wiltshire County Council and to use the phrase from the library's latest leaflet we should Love our Library. Why not ask a friend or relative to join? They perhaps don't know what they are missing.
Cllr D Lovell, Warminster
