WORK will get underway next week to light the Western Arches as part of the Isambard Kingdom Brunel 200 celebrations.
The Chippenham arches are one of Brunel's most famous landmarks in the area and ground level lights will light the stonework and underside of the structure.
They were built as part of Brunel's work to create a level track as part of his new London-Bristol railway line.
The work is being carried out as part of a partnership project between North Wiltshire District Council, Network Rail, Wiltshire County Council, Chippenham Town Council, the Railway Heritage Trust and HPH Commercial Property Ltd.
Events to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Brunel's birth will take place all over the south west, with the culmination on April 8 and 9.
