GARDENERS across north Wiltshire could soon be able to recycle their green waste with the help of a new brown bin.
The bins are for all garden waste and raw vegetable peelings and are available for £25 a year.
They would be emptied every two weeks and the contents turned into compost.
Anyone in north Wiltshire can register their interest to join the scheme but it will only be introduced in areas when there is sufficient demand.
A six-month pilot scheme, operated with the Wiltshire Waste Partnership, proved popular and now the scheme is due to roll out across the district.
To register an interest, contact the recycling hotline on (01249) 706693.
