Picture this...eight new images of Wiltshire’s County Town are transformed into quality postcards.
The postcards have been instigated by Trowbridge Town Council’s Clare Lyall. The pictures have been taken by local amateur photographers Kevin Hartley, Roy Berrett and Karl Buckingham.
“Trowbridge has a rich heritage and some wonderful buildings,” says Clare. “These postcards certainly help to highlight this.”
They also reveal that Trowbridge has much to interest tourists within its own right.
“We need to get away from the mindset that Trowbridge is a great base from where to explore everywhere else,” says Clare.
The postcards are reasonably priced at only 35 pence and can be purchased at Trowbridge Museum, Trowbridge Information Centre and the Trowbridge Town Council Office.
Clare is also exploring other potential sites in Trowbridge where the cards could be sold.
