TORIES have triumphed again after their candidate Linda Conley, a former portfolio holder at West Wiltshire District Council, took the Winsley and Westwood seat.
Cllr Conley said: "It's been a tough struggle and it's been a tough call, but obviously I am very pleased.
"I think I always knew it was going to be a close call because of the boundaries changing for the unitary.
"We are in unknown territory."
