THE Lib Dems enjoyed their thumping victory after securing Bradford on Avon South.
Malcolm Hewson, who raked in more than 1,300 votes, said: "This is a fantastic result for the Lib Dems in Bradford in what was a very high turnout.
"A lot of people have worked immensely hard for this and I'm grateful to the people of Bradford. This was even better than expected."
