Tom James secures poignant win in Trowbridge Adcroft ward
INDEPENDENT Tom James has taken the Trowbridge Adcroft seat from his Lib Dem rival by just 13 votes.
Cllr James, who was deselected by the Lib Dems despite being awarded an MBE for services to local government, beat Nick Blakemore into a very close second.
Cllr James said: "I'm absolutely stunned, so much so that I would prefer not to say anything here and now."
