FORMER West Wiltshire district councillor Julie Swabey has taken the Ethandune seat for the Tory party.
Cllr Swabey secured more than 1,000 votes, more than double that of her rival Lib Dem Christine Chilcott.
She said: "The result is absolutely fantastic. I'm very much looking forward to working with everbody. It's a fresh start now."
