LIB Dem Trevor Carbin, a former Wiltshire county councillor, has been elected onto the newly formed Wiltshire Council.
Cllr Carbin, who was not at the count, notched up a thumping 811 votes, beating off Tory Carolyn Walker and Labour's Barrie Womersley.
