A 20-minute power cut at the Tesco Express store on the Leigh Park estate in Westbury was caused by a maintenance worker accidentally knocking a switch.
Power went down shortly after midday, but was restored within around 20 minutes for afternoon trading.
A shop worker said: "It just went down when a maintenance worker in the shop at the time knocked the power."
