Dead cow causes congestion in Melksham
A dead cow caused traffic hold-ups in Sandridge Road, Melksham, this morning after it was hit by a black Honda Civic shortly after 8.30am.
The crash happened after several cows escaped from a field and made their way on to the road.
A vet was called to the scene, but the animal was pronounced dead shortly after 9am.
