A 45-year-old man has admitted a public order offence and having a machete with him in Trowbridge town centre.
Paul O’Rourke, of Charlotte Square, admitted affray and possessing an offensive weapon when he appeared before a judge at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
O’Rourke admitted having the large knife in Timbrell Street on Tuesday, December 30 last year.
The case has been adjourned until Thursday, June 25 and O’Rourke is on conditional bail.
