A man found dead on a beach in Dorset at the weekend was from Trowbridge, Dorset Police have confirmed.
The man, who is believed to be in his 50s, was found on a pathway near to the sand dunes on Studland beach, which is about a mile and a half from the chain ferry linking Studland to Sandbanks in Poole.
Police cordoned off the area near to a nudist beach called Knoll beach, and determined the man had died of natural causes.
They said they are not treating the death as suspicious and no inquest will be opened.
Ambulance crews, Swanage Coastguard rescue officers and police attended the scene at about 3.30pm on Sunday.
Police believe a car found nearby belonged to the dead man.
