A 17-year-old boy was robbed at knifepoint in Wootton Bassett in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The teenager was set upon by two males while he was walking home, and a knife was held to his throat.
The victim's pockets were searched and his mobile phone was stolen.
The youngster was uninjured in the attack which happened between 1.50am and 2.05am, but police are now appealing for witnesses in the Church Street or Wood Street areas.
