Two brothers are preparing to have their heads shaved on Sunday to help raise money on behalf of their brother Tim Greatley, who was diagnosed with leukaemia two weeks ago.
Jason, 24, of Deverill Road, Warminster, and Steve, 27, who lives in Swindon, will be going before the clippers at The Old Bell in Market Place from 2pm this weekend to help raise money towards their 24-year-old brother Tim’s post-treatment care.
They will be joined by step-brother Matt, 16, of West Sussex and Tim’s former football manager at Warminster Town Football Club, Nigel McGuckian.
Tim, who has two daughters Emma, five, and Lily, three, was taken in to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon at the beginning of May with chest pains and trouble breathing.
Blood and bone marrow tests revealed that he had leukaemia.
Tim, who went to Minster Primary and Kingdown School, remains in hospital and just undergone his first batch of chemotherapy, which doctors say he is initially responding well too.
The money raised from the collection buckets on the day will go towards helping Tim with his full-time care once he is out of hospital.
A special page has been set up on the Facebook social networking site and can be found by searching for 'Tim Greatley'
