The French and Belgian Governments have seen fit to honour Harry Patch and Henry Allingham recently for their contributions to freedom in the First World War.
Surely our Government should reward these two also. It is a matter of national pride and honour; we should show our gratitude for the sacrifice shown by others in the preservation of our freedoms enjoyed today.
