Pre-school assistant Louise Arnold couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw strange lights hovering over Bradford on Avon.
The 35-year-old, of St Mary’s Gardens, Hilperton Marsh, was woken up by the Wiltshire Police helicopter at about 1.20am on Tuesday.
She said: “My husband and I had been woken up by the helicopter which was using its spotlight close to our home during the early hours of the morning.
“We keep our curtains open as my husband likes to get some air in our bedroom on a night and while we were watching the helicopter I saw two lights near the Bradford area.”
The bright orange lights seemed to be coming from the left of the window and she thought they were plane lights at first, but then they started dancing about and moving really fast, before one disappeared followed by the second - all in the space of 20 seconds.
Mrs Arnold said: “I don’t believe in this sort of thing but the lights were going so fast that it was definitely not a plane or a laser. I do think it is a UFO, because it is unidentified.
“I just wondered whether anybody else had seen it as my husband Mark and I can’t work at what it was. We were sat puzzling over it for ages.”
