A 30-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital suffering from serious head injuries after falling off her bicycle in Bradford on Avon on Sunday.
Great Western Ambulance Service found the woman at Barton Farm Country Park after they were contacted by a member of the public, thought to be a passer-by, shortly before 6.30pm.
The woman, who was unconscious when emergency crews arrived, was flown by air ambulance to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol at 7.06pm with a suspected fractured skull.
Emergency crews were not able to confirm whether the injured woman is local.
